Payment Terms
SECURITY DEPOSIT-$250 Security Deposit per unit of stay is due upon confirmation of rental. The deposit is fully refundable after your stay pending key return and inspection of the premises, unless your stay is cancelled. Refunds are usually mailed within three (3) business days. A $7.55 fee applies to all deposits charged to credit cards (our cost.)
Personal Checks and all major credit cards (via phone with Owner) are gladly accepted. Payment of the full rental invoice is due 30 days prior to your arrival date; otherwise, rental will be re-opened to others. Sorry, but once paid these fees are not refundable unless we are able to rent the unit to others after your cancellation.
CLEANING FEE $79.50
TAXES 9% added to Rental Fee (10% effective 7/1/2010.)
Responsible Party MUST be at LEAST 25-years old or older

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations 31 or more days prior to the start date: The vacation week can be re-deposited. Your deposit will be forfeited.
30 days or less prior to the start date: Your deposit and the vacation fee are non-refundable unless the unit is rented to another tenant. Should the unit be rented, your vacation fee will be refunded. The deposit is forfeited regardless. The cleaning fee is refundable.
CANCELLATIONS DUE TO NON-PAYMENT
Units are reserved one week allowing time for your deposit to be mailed. After one week, we reserve the right to open the unit to other potential vacationers. All units not paid 30 days prior to the start date are automatically opened to other potential vacationers. Whoever pays for the unit first, gets the unit for that week.
CANCELLATIONS DUE TO WEATHER Fortunately we don't have many hurricanes making a direct hit in the St. Augustine area. If there is an evacuation order, we refund a pro-rated share of the weekly rental based on the number of days it was not used beginning with the day of the evacuation order. A cleaning fee will still apply if the unit was used. While tropical storms do bring inclement weather, they are not life threatening. Cancellations due to adverse weather are not refundable.

ALL RENTERS must abide by the rules by the rules and policies set forth by Four Winds Condominium rental office (see link.)
PAYMENTS accepted by personal checks or credit cards
Any damages charged to the Owners by Four Winds will be deducted from your deposit. The complex charges $85 to let you in the condo after office hours. Should you lock yourself out or forget the lockbox code, call the Owners first. |
